My family and I took a short vacation to South Dakota. This is a timeline of the things we did on vacation.

My family and I left for SD after school

I went to school. I couldn't wait until break. We would leave later that day...

My family and I arrived at our destination (Spearfish, SD) at about noon

We drove around Deadwood, Hill City, Lead, and took some scenic routes. We later went to the Fish Hatchery.

My family and I went to see Mount Rushmore and drove the Needles Highway. Later, we went to Sage Creek Grille. The food there was delicious!

We went to the Crazy Horse Monument and drove around Custer State Park.

My family and I drove into the Badlands.

After visiting the Badlands, we started driving home:(

My family and I drove the whole day and arrived at home in the late afternoon.

I went to school. My family went to work. Things returned to normal. South Dakota is still in our thoughts. I will be happy to go back to South Dakota next year, and so will the rest of my family.
