The teachings Muhammad was recieving disturbed him. He started going to a mountain to meditate and fast. One day he was visited by an overpowering presence and instructed to recite words of such beauty and force that he and others gradually attributed them to God. -

Muhammad Takes His Message Public
Muhammad shared the messages he had been recieving to his tribe. These would later be written down and conbined to form the Quaran. Muhammad and his followers were ridiculed and attacked for not following the traditional ways fo Mecca. This message was soley monotheistic. Later the leaders of Mecca would attempt to assisinate Muhammad. -

Muhammad's Death
Muhammad died on June 8, 632 after a brief illness. He is buried in the mosque in Medina. Before his final days he returned to Mecca to perform a pilgrimage with many Muslims joining him. After this pilgrimage, he returned to Medina, where he died. -

After his grandfather's death, Muhammad had to live with his uncle. He was eight years old when he moved in with his uncle. -

When Muhammad was a teen, he worked in a caravan to trade centers. He had to work in order to help pay his keeps, to live with his uncle. He was recognized as the one you can trust. -
Muhammad's Family Life
Muhammad got married to a woman named Khadija. Khadija was a merchant on the caravans while Muhammad was working on the caravan. She was forty years old while Muhammad was only twenty.
