  • Mariners 6 & 7

    Mariners 6 & 7
    Mariner 6 and 7 were the second pair of Mars missions and in the NASA Mariner series of the solar system exploration in 1960s and early 1970s. Mariner 6 and 7 completed the first dual mission o Mars. These Mariners took pictures and recordings they also analyze the Martian atmosphere.

    Mariner 9
    Mariner 9 became the first spacecraft to orbit another planet which was Mars. Mariner 9 mapped 85 percent of the Martian surface and collected valuable information about Mars's surface and atmosphere. The amount of photos that were taken where more than 7000 and when they were submitted the first detail views of the solar system largest volcano.

    Mars Global Surveyor became the first successful mission to the red planet in two decades.They also observed the planet from a low-altitude and the camera each day collects images that are used to make a daily global map. They also observe the weather of mars and temperature.

    It was designed as a technology demonstration of a new way to deliver an instrument land. The rover carried instruments for scientific observations and provide engineering data. It analyzes the martian atmosphere, climate, geology and the composition of its rock and soil.

    Mars Odyssey holds a record for the longest continually active spacecraft in orbit around a planet other than earth. The mission is to investigate the Martians environment and to provide information on the hazards of future explorers might face.
  • Mars Exploration Rovers

    Mars Exploration Rovers
    Mars Pathfinder rover explorer trekked for miles across the Martian surface and is conducting field geology and making atmospheric observations. It also carries identical, sophisticated sets of science instruments, both rovers have found evidence of ancient Maritain environments where intermittently wet and habitable condition existed. The goal for this rover was to search for wide range rocks and soil for clues to past water activity on Mars.

    The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter Carried most powerful camera ever flown on a planetary exploration mission. It also identify objects that are small as a dinner table but can't spot something smaller as a dinner plate. It also have a good capacity camera to see the geology and structures of Mars. It also carried a sounder to see if there was subsurface water.

    The goals of the Phoenix Mars Lander were to study the history of water in the Martian arctic and search for habitable zone and asses the biological of the ice-soil. Phoenix studied the Martian soil with lad chemistry and a microscope. In August 2008, Phoenix completed the three month mission study Martain of the ice, soil and atmosphere.

    Curiosity was designed to assess whether Mars ever had an environment able to support small life forms called microbes. It also records studies on the planet's climate and geology(rocks and soil). It also studies the form and structure and chemical composition on the rocks and soil.

    Maven mission will orbit mars to explore how the sun may have stripped Mars. Its atmosphere is possibly habitable in a microbial life into cold and barren desert world. Maven will be the first spacecraft mission dedicated to explore the upper atmosphere of Mars.
  • Insight

    Insight was on Mars to study the planet's deep interior. More than a year later the stationary leader detected more than 480 quakes and collected the most comprehensive weather data. They also found out that earth and Mars are similar because they both are warm,wet and shrouded in thick atmosphere.

    Perseverance rover successfully landed on the surface of Mars. Perseverance cameras are to capture videos of the touchdown. Perseverance also barley landed in february,19,2021 and is now being in progress of reports of Mars surface. It is searching for its first sample of Martian rock and sediment.
