    Yll and Ylla talk about Ylla's dreams about this man who came in a metal thing that glisened in the sun. Yll gets very jealous of her dreams though. Ylla talks out loud saying when and where this man would be. The next next Yll convinces Ylla to stay home when the man was supposed to come.When the time comes that the man is supposed to appear, Yll goes off to “hunt” in the Green Valley. When Ylla notices that nothing unusual happened, she is sure the man will come the next day.

    Three men come from Earth and are very confused for where they ended up. Each martian says they are from Earth or Jupiter or Saturn, and those who are from either say it’s all water or all jungle, they have no idea what America is. The men decide they are in an insane asylum. The captain of all this is so confused by what the men are saying he thinks they are crazy so he shoots them but nothing happens to the craziness. So then he shoots himself to relieve all of this hallucations.

    People were gathered to watch a women sing but once she sung all that came out was a song in a different language.The audience sighed not amused. The singer was so confused with what was coming out of her mouth not knowing what she was singing. The musicians were also confused not knowing what she was singing.   • The Tayxpayer

    The Tayxpayer
    A man on Earth demands to go to Mars because he is a taxpayer and has the right to go and leave Earth because there is going to be an atomic war. He then gets arrested just as the third expedition is launched.
  • Third Expedition

    Third Expedition
    A third rocket ship is sent to Mars. Mars has transformed from the land described in the first few chapters to a place very similar to Earth (including oxygen). The men of the third expedition do not know why Mars seems like Earth and assume that it was the doing of the first two expeditions or people had previously colonized Mars. then things get confusing by the martians faking as dead people to trick the expedition people so that they can kill them.
  • And the moon still be as bright

    The fourth expedition arrives on Mars, and they discover a many centuries old Martian city, along with fresh Martian corpses that had fallen to chicken pox. Spender has an attitude problem and ends up killing some the fourht expedition because he claimed he was the last martian. The captain and the remaining men come after him to kill him, yet the captain wants his death to be clean. Spender is given a clean death, clutching his silver book and laid to rest in a martian tomb.

    As time progressed There was a growing interest in the expeditions. More and more people saw the advertisements and decided they wanted to go to Mars.

    Benjamin Driscoll decides to plant trees on mars so tht everyone can breathe more. The night after he plants the seed it begins to rain for a few hours. This rain results in the thousands of trees he had planted growing into full grown trees.

    Two waves of men came to Mars from America. The rest of the world is caught up in war while America is taking over and even colonizing the new planet.

    2 different kinds of martians now live on Mars: one type is mostly extinct while the other is this fiery blue spheres of light that are normally seen in the mountains. Peregrine and Stone go off in search of the blue spheres while encountering many near death experiences along the way. Each time however, a blue sphere saved them from any further harm. They came to a conclusion that the blue spheres could saves lives so they build an altar around them. Unfortunately, they couldnt though.

    Kids are going for a hike and going to the dead cities to play. The parents didnt want them going there because the firemen never cleaned up all the bones, everything was burned but there were still bones but the children didnt know what it meant except for that they could play with them.

    Janice Smith and Leonora Holmes prepare for their trip to Mars. Janice is not looking forward to her ride in a spaceship, because she was once stuck in a dark closet and fell down a flight of dark stairs. Janice is conquering her fear to go to Mars because her BF Will is already there.Janice calls Will on the lightphone, which is apparently a piece of technology that hasn't made it through the Apple labs yet, but the only message that gets through from Mars is "love."

    This chronicle is about how the towns are named about people or things that happened. For example, “Red Town” named from the blood spewed by the Earth mens’ murder and “Second Town” named for the second expedition. The old Martian names were of water, air, and hills (towns & graveyards took this pattern). Towns included Iron Town, Steel Town, Aluminum City while graveyards were named Green Hill, Moss Town, Boot Hill, and Bode a Wee. Ultimately, all names revert back to Terra’s roots - making it

    William Stendahl goes to Mars to build his dream house: a recreation of Edgar Allen Poe's House of Usher. Stendahl has been banned from building the house on Earth by the Office of Moral Climate, a group whose governmental position is to ban and destroy anything which suggests "ghosts, vampires, fairies, or any creature of the imagination. Mr. Bigelow was to design the seven-room mansion filled with banned creatures.Robots end up coming to kill people who come and Stendahl was a robot too.

    The last people who get to go to Mars are the old people. The way Bradbury describes these people are as if they are ancient.

    A martian formed into the dead son, Tom, of Mr. LaFarge. Mr. Lafarge knew that it couldnt be Tom but he went along with it. When they took "Tom" into town he ran off and soon was changing into different people dead children, so many people we calling out different names and the martains face kept changing until it oculdnt take it anymore and melted off.

    The luggage store owner heard the news of the war soon to be on Earth. Father Peregrine tells the shopkeeper that it is because the owner isn’t on Earth. The owner of the luggage store believes that there will be an influx of people in his store soon, because soon everyone will want to go back to Earth to see their relatives that are still down there.

    At 9 the Earth explodes. A morse code message is sent to them, with news that the atomic stockpile of Australia prematurely explode, wiping out the continent; further, London and Los Angeles have been bombed and the settlers should come home. At 3 a.m. so many people rushed to the luggage store that he sold out his goods by dawn.

    A martian came to give Sam Parkhill a message but Sam thought it was a gun so he shot the martian. A cloud of sand and sand ships then started coming towards Sam and his wife. Sam started running but gave up because he thought the martians were coming to kill him but after all they werent. They wanted to give him half ownership of Mars. Then they watched Eaeth catch on fire and partly explode.

    Walter Gripp is very desperate for a women. He was one of the last men on Earth since the war broke out. Gripp starts dialing every number until a women picks up, Miss Selsor. They agree to go on a date but Miss Selsor was a little more planned considering they were the only people left, she bought a wedding dress and ended up scaring off Gripp.

    Hathaway from the 4th expedition has been living on Mars alone for 20 years now since his family died. So he built a robot family just like his other family that died. Hathaway ends up dying from a heart condition.
  • There will come soft rain

    There will come soft rain
    This chronicle takes place inside of fully-automated house on a rainy day in California. This house announces everything that is supposed to be going on with the hour and other things that are to be turned on and done at certain times. The rest of the city is non-existent. Later in the night a tree gets knocked over from wind and catches the house on fire, by morning there is only one wall left of the house, constantly repeating the date.

    One of the last existing families on Earth travels to Mars to escape the utter destruction left by the atomic war. William Thomas brouhgt his family here so that they could live wherever and however they wanted to live. Once on a family trip, Timothy, the oldest son, gets told that Earth is no longer there and it is not safe anymore so Mars is their new home. The children then ask to see the Martians, Thomas leads them to the canal of water, and says “there they are” pointing to their reflection
