He won his first Ballon d'OR on December 1, 2010, he won his second on January 10, 2011, he won his third on January 9, 2012, and finally he won his last Ballon d'OR on January 7, 2013. He was also the first player to ever win 4 consecutive Ballon d'OR s in a row.

Messi gets married to one of his child hood friends, Antonella Roccuzzo on June 30, 2017. This marriage was known as the “Wedding of the Century” and over 200 people attended. Many of Messi’s teammates attended aswell as Shakira who is a famous Columbia’s singer.
