Lionel Messi was born in central Argentina in the city of Rosario. He was raised in a small household by his mother Celia María Cuccittini and his father Jorge Messi. -

When messi was 18 he scored his first goal in La liga making him the youngest player ever to score for Barcelona. Messi played as a attacking mid fielder during that game and ended up netting his first goal. -

At the age of 20 Messi established the "Leo Messi Foundation" to improve access and health care for children. -
Fifa player of the year
On December 21, 2009 Messi got selected as the best player of the year and was give the Fifa player of the year award. This was the first award Messi had received in his professional career. -

On July 13th 2014 after the World Cup Messi was rewarded the Ballon d’OR also known as the best player in the FIFA World Cup. He was rewarded this after getting 4 player of the game awards and scoring many goals for Argentina. -
Messi gets married
Messi gets married to one of his child hood friends, Antonella Roccuzzo on June 30, 2017. This marriage was known as the “Wedding of the Century” and over 200 people attended. Many of Messi’s teammates attended aswell as Shakira who is a famous Columbia’s singer.
