    After the Nazis came to power in January 30, 1933. They did an economic boycott on all Jews that lived in Germany. 600,000 Jews lived in Germany at that time. Jews were proud to be German. On April 1st, 1933 the Nazis carried out their first boycott targeting businesses and professionals.

    Hitler was 31 votes short, he persuaded German Center Party to approve this measure. Wanted all dis-Nazi groups to ban. Hitler was allowed to let the Nazi Party in Germany.

A red "J" stamped on them and new middle names for all those Jews who did not possess recognizably "Jewish" first names -- "Israel" for males, "Sara" for females. Such cards allowed the police to identify Jews easily.
