    Students across the US and Europe take over buildings and barricade in their dormitories in protest of censorship demanding cultural representation within their curriculum as well as within student government
  • Apartheid Divestment

    Students rallied together on college campuses throughout the United States to support the end of the Apartheid in South Africa. Creating Anti-Apartheid movement to lobby for administrators to stop investing in companies tied to South Africa which ultimately contributed to economic strain and eventually the end of the Apartheid

    Thousands of students ban together to promote a democratic government and end communistic rule in China. Many are injured and killed by ordered brute force. China remains a communist country

    Students rally together to end communism in Czechoslovakia. Communistic government surrenders and democracy is declared without any acts of violence

    Michael Brown gunned down by police, Ferguson, Missouri. Students come together in protest of police brutality, racial profiling, and demand gun control. Creates a national impact and emphasis on racial bias and excessive police force.

    Gunman enters Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida killing 17 and injuring many others. Surviving students unite in support of improved gun regulations and implore young people to vote for supportive government representatives that will support their cause and contribute to changing current laws. March for Our Lives protests occur around the world in support and unity.
