    When I was 16, my dad passed away three days into my Junior year of high school after a long battle with Stage IV Colon Cancer

    In 2015, I graduated from high school in Boca Raton, FL, traveled to Italy with my family, and soon enough I was off to FSU! Go Noles!

    In May 2018, I had the opportunity to work a huge electronic dance music festival, EDC, in Las Vegas, NV. I attended the year prior, and still work their festivals to this day. I've worked in Harm Reduction, Medical Dispatch, Intercommunications, and Oasis. I was supposed to work again this summer and received a promotion for a Wellness Assistant position, but unfortunately due to COVID-19, the festival was canceled :(

    In my junior year of college, I applied for an internship at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal. I was accepted and lived in Portugal for a month. I studied oncology, neurology, cardiology, and epilepsy. I was able to watch a shunt surgery, aortic valve replacement, and seizure patient monitors.

    At Florida State University, I completed my bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology through the Degree in Three Program. I graduated in 08/2018.

    I decided to apply for the Nuclear Medicine program so that I can support my goal of obtaining my DrPH, focusing in epidemiology and biostatistics. I was pleased to accept the opportunity to pursue Nuclear Medicine for a diverse healthcare experience.

    I was a swimmer and a diver for 8 years and unfortunately got hurt in high school, which evidently ceased my opportunity to swim for university.

    Unfortunately I had to get surgery on my left knee over Quarantine. Surgery went very well and was less invasive than the last one-- I'm very happy with the results
