( Liberty, progress, tolerance, fraternity, and constitutional government were the ideas that were spread.) It was known as the thirty years of war.

    Frederick Douglass was a African American abolitionist , he became a leader of the abolitionist movement after being freed (escaped slavery), he was such a great knowledgeable speaker that it was so shocking too know that he had once been a slave, his autobiography because one of the best sellers which were about his life experience as a slave, he was very strongly against slavery and thought that everyone deserved equality no matter what race.

Many states that disagreed with what the USA was saying separated themselves from them and made their own state and its own ruling. The war ended with Slavery ending in the USA only, since those countries that were not part of the USA still had slavery.

    A period between 1890's and 1920's, which was based on trying to accomplish making social change in the Unites States, its main goal was to eliminate complications based on immigrant and corruption, many people became part of that to rebuild the education, medicine, churches ,etc.
