    On April 30 1803 Thomas Jefferson purchased a large sum of land from France for 15 million dollars which in turn made people like him more.
  • The expidition begins

    As a result of the Louisianna purchase we also had the Lewis and Clark expidition which was the exploration of the new territories purchases by Thomas Jefferson.They were assisted on this journey by sacajawea an Indian who helped Lewis and Clark communicate with Natives.
  • Thomas Jefferson is elected for the second time.

    On this day TJ is reelected which may alter the dynamic between France,The british and the US, due to his position of power he may make descisions that will contribute to the need for war.
  • Chesapeake Affair Of 1807

    The Chesapeake Affair was an incident that occured near the coast of VA between the American frigate, The Chesapeake and the british warship,The Leopard.During this incident the sailors of the Leopard attacked the sailors of the Chesapeake looking for deserters of the RoyalNavy,

    On this day Charles Pickney lost the presidential election to James Madison by around 75 electorial votes.In turn Madison get inagurated as the US's 4th president.
  • Impressment of US sailors

    At this time the British werecapturing Us sailors and forcing them to work for the British on their ships, the was called impressment and one of the biggest causes for the war of 1812.
  • Battle of Tippecanoe

    On this day the US defeted the Indians in the
    Battle of Tippecanoe,which was a conflict between the US armed forces and the Confederacy of Native Indian warriors.Tecumseh led the CNT and Gen. William Henry Harrison led the US side.
