  • Benjamin Franklin flies a kite during a thunderstorm to prove that lightning is electricity

    1. In 1752 in Philadelphia, Benjamin franklin flew a kite during a lightning storm to prove that lightning was electricity. He was investigating whether or not lightning was an electric phenomenon. With help from his son William, they waited until it was close to the end of the thunderstorm before they tried out their experiment including of a jar, silk string, an iron key, thin metal wire, and a large kite.

    1. The French and Indian War was the North American conflict that was part of a larger imperial conflict between Great Britain and France known as the Seven Years' War. The French and Indian War began in 1754 and ended with the Treaty of Paris in 1763.

    1. Company rule in India to the rule or dominion of the British East India Company on the Indian subcontinent. This happened in 1757, after the Battle of Plassey, when the Nawab of Bengal surrendered his dominions to the Company. The rule lasted until 1858.

    1. In 1760 king George the second died, therefore his grandson because next in line for king. George the third got throned king in October at the age of 22. He died when he was 81 and buried in Winsdor. After he died, George the fourth came next in line for king.

    Christanity in Korea revolves around protestantism and catholicism with 8.6 million and 5.1 million repectable members. It was introduced during the late joseon dynasty period. The growth was gradual until the middle of the 20th century until other relgions became more popular.

    George washintgon won the election with a total of 69/69 votes. He was a federalist. He served as president from april 30th 1789 - march 4th 1797. His vice president John adams was later voted as the second president of the USA.
