Born in Michigan
-
I was raised with five other siblings in a single parent home.
-
As far as I know I developed phsically and emotionally right on schedule. May have been early in some aspects because I had four older siblings to keep up with.
-
I was part of the last generation to be innoculated for smallpox. The only disesae to be eradicated from the face of the earth.
-
We had a large yard with a sand box I loved to play in and a wooded area I enjoyed exploring.
-
I got my first bike which gave me freedom...even with the training wheels.
-
I hated school, so I made going to school a chore for my oldest sister. She was in charge of getting me up and out to the bus but I liked being home with mom and my dolls to much.
-
I eventually started to like school. Jump rope and Hopsotch were my favorite recess activities.
-
Getting glasses was a highlight of my 3rd grade career.
-
We moved into town when I was in 4th grade.
-
For some a change like that may not be a good thing but I liked it because it opened up activities for me to be involved in and I got to start cheerleading for the local junior league.
-
Such a small span of time yet full of more family and individual changes.
-
My oldest sister graduates and leaves to go to college.
-
