    Queensland was first established on the 6 of june 1770. Because Queensland had just been seperated from New South Wales and they needed a new govenor and George Bowden was quite popular. so Goerge Bowden was appointed the govenor of Queensland.

    The first colony of south Australia was first established on the 29th of April 1788. South Australia became a free colony and Britain wanted more than one free colony in Australia so the British parliament allocated 800,000 square kilometers of land so the British made the colony of New South Wales.

    tasmania was established in 1803. in 1880 colonel David Collins was ored to make a penal colony south of syndey. but the site was not very suatible. so he went back north and arrived in the derwent river and then established a the city now know as Hobart

    In 1850 Western Australia became a penal colony. Then in 1870 the western Australia legislative council includes elected members. Then on the 24 of October 1889 hennery parkes delivers the Tenderfield oration, calling for Australian federation. Britain started to send ships because the queen was worrying that the French wanted a colony on the western side of Australia so Britain made a colony in western Australia.

    The colony of South Australia was established in 1836. It was a colony of free settlers unlike any other Australian colony at the time. Considering problems of the other colonies Edward Gibber Wakefield thought of a plan with involved `systematic colonization`. Settlers needed enough money to buy land and needed skills such as farming and trades. As well people of a certain age were needed, to raise families and expand the colony.

    the colony of victoria was established on th 6th of december 1853. prior to british settelment in victoria in 1834, it was estimated that the indigenous population was around 30,000 people. by 1901, with the expantion of British settlement, the spread of disease and remove from their lands, the indigenous people of victoria had been reduced to a small and cattered population.
