Eris the goddess of discord threw a golden apple that said "For the fairest" all of the goddesses wanted the apple but zeus couldnt pick which goddess he would give the apple to.

The three goddesses come to claim the golden apple from zeus but he sends them to paris where they all offer him bribes but in the end paris chooses aphrodite because she promises the most beautful girl

Paris kidnapps Helen wife of menelaos

Agememnom sacrifices his daghter

The goddess artemis wanted agememnom to sacrifice his own daughter if he wanted the winds to travel. So agememnom tricked his daughter iphignia by telling her he was taking her to aulis to marry achilles but instead of arriving to a wedding she arrived to a sacrificial ceremenoy where agememnom killed her

Agamemnom captured a priestess of apollo. Sice the greek leader refused to return her to her father. He cast a plague on the greeks that would not go away unless she was returned. So agememnom agreed to let her go but he would only do that if her father gave him achilles briseis

Patroclus fights as achilles

When agamemnom took breseis from achilles. Achilles became outraged and refused to fight in the war. So achilles close friend patroclus fights as achilles in the war wearing achilles's armor. But during the battle hector mistook patroclus for achilles because of his armor and killed patroclus.

Achilles seeks revenge

When achilles learned about patroclus's death he was enraged and went to seek revenge against hector. So he met hector in one-on-one combat and killed hector. Achilles then went onto disgrace the body of hector and drag his dead body around in a chariot. During his battle achilles was hit by an arrow in his heel (the only spot where he wsnt immortal) and he was killed.

Aphrodite Aids Paris

During the war paris was fighting also killing many achaeans he even battled menalaos one on one combat but when paris was losing aphrodite came to his aid creating a mist so he could run away

Odysseus plan to end the war

Odysseus devised a plan to end the trojan war. His plan was to leave a giant wooden horse filled with greek men and to make it seem like they retreated. The plan worked and when all the trojans were drunk and asleep the greek men came out of the horse opened the gates to their comrades and they came in killed everyone except the woman (because they took them prisoner) and burned the city down. Helen was reunited with her husband menelaos and so ended the trojan war
