    King Menelaus goes to his brother Agamemnon to form an army and take back his wife Helen.

    Army problems

    At first Agamenmom had trouble getting people to join like Odysseus and Achilles (Who was pretending to be a woman) but he got them to come around and join the cause.

    Sacrifice

    Before Agamemnon and his army could set trail for troy Agamemnon was told by the god huntress Artemis that he would have to sacrific his daughter Iphigenia so that they could set sail.

    Achilles doppleganger

    Patroclus tries to convince his good friend Achilles to join the war because he would be such a valuable asset on the battlefield. Achilles declines the offer but lets Patroclus lead his troops into battle in his armor.

    Murder by mistake

    Since Patroclus was in the battle wearing Achilles armor and leading Achilles' troops, Trojan leader mistook Patroclus for Achilles and killed him.

    Revenge

    Driven by rage Achilles enters the battle and kills hector and then drags his body around his chariot, then he hung it on the chariot. Soonafter Priam (Hectors father and king of Troy) persuades Achilles to return the body.

    Achilles was made immortal by his mother. But she didnt make him immortal in one spot, his heel. During battle paris struck his heel(with the guidance of Apollo) and killed Achilles

    Legend was that to win the war that the Archeans were to seek the arrows of Hercules. Using the Bow and arrow of Hercules Philoctetes struck Paris and killed him.

    Odysseus decide to have all of the Archeans enter a huge trojan horse and try to trick the trojans

    End of the war

    The trojans accepted the horse as a peace offering and took it into Troy. The next night odysseus and the Archeans killed nearly everybody in troy and then, returned Helen to Menelaus
