The year the Duma, Russias first parliament met. They wanted a constitutional monarchy. Czar didnt want to share his power so he disbanded them 10 weeks later. -

Allowed peasants to sell excess crops instead of handing them over to the government. Lenin had introduced this. -
Stalin Wins
Lenin suffered a stroke which left an open spot as head of communists party. Joseph Stalin climbed to power starting at this time. He put his friends in power and was in total control by 1928.
