    The Romans had tried to convert the Jews to worship their gods. But when the Jews refused to, the Romans looked down upon them. Some Jews were planning revolts against the Romans when they were conquered.

    The Spread of Christianity

    After the Holy Spirit descended on the early Christian, the early Christians began to spread their faith. This had caused tensions among the new Christians and the Jews. Both religions were trying to hold on to their beliefs and began to attack one another.

    Jews in Europe

    In Europe during the Middle Ages and in the sixteen century, there was more Christians in Europe than there were Jews. This made it easier for the Jews to be attacked, mistreated, and blamed by the Christians for everything.

    The idea of racial superiority was beginning to develop. This means that a persons ethical background was able to determine how good, smart, and better one was. People during the 1700's though 1900's thought that the Aryan race was superior and that every other race was inferior. This lead to the label the Jewish people have gained which was the Semitic race.

    During the 1900's, many people who were white and though of themselves as Aryans began to start mistreating, and abusing people who were from other races more often. Problems in society and in the world was blamed on people who were from races that whites and "Aryans" thought were inferior.

    People at the time of the Great Depression began to blame people who were part of another race for the problem.

    After Hitler came to power in Germany, the German people started to isolate the Jews and started to mistreat them more. The laws that was created by Hitler had made Germany Jews less than citizens and have made the German people to think that the Jews were inferior to them. This had caused the Jews to be mistreated by everyone in Germany

    The Holocaust was a terrible time in Jewish and world history when millions of Jews had lost their lives because of Hitler's laws and ideas. Once Hitler had gained lots of territories as a result of World War II, he had convinced everyone that the Jews should be killed. This lead to millions of Jew to die because of Hitler's concentration camps.

    After Hitler had taken over the government of the nation of Hungary, he had ordered millions of Jews to be taken to concentration camps to be murdered.
