Hitler was born in Austria. -
His parents died, so he traveled to Vienna.
His father died in 1903, and 4 years after, his mother followed leaving Hitler on his own. In 1908, he traveled to Vienna and was rejected at Academy of Fine Art. -
Hitler joined the German army on the outbreak of WWI
He fought bravely and was promoted to corporal; won two Iron Cross for bravery. -
Hitler bacame the seventh member of the German Workers Party
He was accepted an army's requirement to investigate(as a spy) the German Workers Party. -
Hitler changed the name of the German Workers Party
After joining the party, in february, he changed the party's name to National Socialist German Workers Party or the Nazis Party. -
Hitler bacame the leader of the Nazis Party
He also set up the SA to stop Nazis Party meetings being interrupted by opponents. -
Hitler led a failed attempt to overthrow the German government.
Then in 1924, he was sent to jail for a 5 year-sentence, but he only served 9 months. While in prison, he wrote Mein Kampf (My Struggle). -
Mein Kampf was published.
He outlined his political idas for Germany-
+his plan for attaining power;
+blames Jews for all the problems and evils of the world and for defeat of Germany in WWI;
+ proclaims Germans or Aryans as the “master race” of highest racial purity and Jews as the “anti-race”;
+calls for Germany to stop the Jews from conquering the world only by eliminating them and find “Lebensraum” (living space) for all pure Germans;
+eliminating democracy and calling upon a "Fuhrer" to rebuild the German Reich. -
Hitler became Chencellor of Germany
He was appointed Chancellor of Germany by President Hindenburg. -
Reichstag burned
The German parliament (Reichstag) building burned down due to arson.Hitler blamed it on the Communists. He granted emergency powers. -
Hitler passed the Enabling Act.

Hitler's death
Adolf Hitler committed suicide by gunshot in his bunker in Berlin. His wife, Eva joined him by swallowing cyanide.
