    This act took place in the United States. This act was passed by John Adams. Imigrants must be here in the United States for 14 years before becoming a citizen. President has power to remove imigrants that are "Dangerous to the United States." This policy effected America because imigrants favored this more then others. Many people also critizied these laws and his political party.

They called the trail leading to indian territory the trail of tears because just from one trime of native indians over 4,000 died.
