  • Delian League

    Delian League

The Delian League was an alliance that the Greek city-states decided to create as a defense against Persian attacks. Each member of the alliance swore to help defend one another if the Persians decided to attack. In the picture it shows the city-states that were involved in the alliance. The Delian League was important because other Greek city-states that were weaker felt safer because they had the help of the bigger and stronger city states.
