The war begins
On this date a Mexican Cavalry attacked a group of us soldiers the were under the command of Zachary Taylor. The result was around a dozen killed. The point was to achieve the land we know today as Texas. -
The result
Mexico sold California to the us in return for Texas after the war ended with the general of Mexico committing suicide after their loss.
