    Early in the morning on May 14 1984 Oliver Stanley Murs was born in Wittam, Essex, England. His parents are Vicki-Lynn and Peter. He has a twin brother named Ben and Olly is the older brother.
  • Audition for the X Factor

    Olly Murs auditioned for the X Factor with the song Superstition. He advanced into the live rounds and into the finals. He finished up as the runner-up of the Sixth Series of the X Factor.

    His first single was released in the UK. The name of it was "Please Don't Let Me Go"It soared to number on the UK charts.
  • First Album

    His self titled album was released in the UK. Prior to it though four of the songs were released as singles. It reached number 2 on the British album charts
  • Hosting the Xtra Factor
