  • The Kaiser hands Austria a 'blank cheque'

    The German Kaiser offers Austria a 'blank check'--not to delay in taking whatever action Austria decides. Conrad urges the army to advance, which the Austrian emperor refuses.

  • Austria declares war on Serbia

    Austria bombs the Capital City of Serbia, Belgrade. In doing so decares war on Serbia.

  • Germany demand Russia to withdraw their forces from Serbia

    Germany demands Russia to stop its forces from helping Serbia, something that would be quite unlikely.

  • The Russian Army gets ready to help Serbia

    Germany hears about Russia's advance and so gives Germany a clear chance to go in and help it's ally. France also hears about this and moves in to help Russia.

  • Germany declares war on Russia

    France and Germany Advance and then Germany declares war on Russia. Italy declares itself to be neutral.

  • Germany declares war on France

    Germany invades neutral Belguim and Britain demands that they leave Belguim immediately. Germany also declare war on France

  • Britain declare war on Germany

    Germany stay in Belguim and so Britain is forced to declare war on Germany.

  • Austria Declare war on Russia

    Six days after Germany declare war on Russia Austria does the same thing.
