Glorious Revolution

The French Revolution
This primary source is a painting depicting the Storming of Bastille, which occured in Paris, France on July 14, 1789. This piece of art was done by a French painter, who was known as Jean-Pierre Hovel. Thousands of people seized weapons that were stored in the Invalides, a large veterans' hospital. The mob of people captured the Bastille, but many of the attackers were killed or woundead. -
Revolutions of 1830
This piece of art is titled, "Liberty Leading the People", and it was done by the French Romantic artist, Eugene Delacroix. This painting is commerating the July Revolution of 1830, which caused the downfall of King Charles X of France. Russian Revolution
This is a photo of the Petrogad garrison meeting during March of 1917. The Russian Revolution that happend in Petrograd in 1917 was due to the extreme discontent with hunger and poverty. This garrison was on one the revoltuionary organizations in Russis that arranged a large general strike in early, 1917.
