Domain name addressing system
Before Domain names addressing system was invented, HOSTS.TXT was used as a domain name. Using such domains like this was very hard for companies to define themself as all domain host was the same. -

First commercial dialup was used as a form of internet access but it was used by using a telephone line. But in the same year ARPANET was created which meant there was more opertunity for the internet to grow. -
