    By 1920 radio stations began broadcasting commercials which at the time were broadcasted by Western Electrics and AT&T who were the main broadcasters back then. After a while radio shows were even made for family entertainment.

    War had broken out in Europe because of the Nazi's invation, once again like in world war one radios were used for defence and to pick up on enemy lines.

    In the late 1940's television was invented. This was bad for radios because it granted a clear visual of whats going on and radio couldn't.

    In the 1950's a new era in music had been made. This new music was rock and roll which made radios start paying famous people like Elvis Presley.
