  • Charter of 1732

    It was the founding of Georgia. King George granted it to James Olgethrope. The 3 main reason Georgia was created was for charity, economic, and defence. The charter of 1732 prohibited slavery and alcohol. The Charter of 1732 baned Catholics, African Americans, and Lawyers. At first a group of 21 trusties was in charged of Georgia at first. The trusties was not allowed to own land in GA, they could not hold public offices, and they could not get paid.

  • Fonding of Savannah

    Savannah was the first city in Georgia. James Oglethorpe founded it. Him and his man arrived on a ship called Anne. Tomochichi was the Indian cheif that gave them permission to land at Yamacraw Bluff. They comminicated with Tomochichi with an translator with a name of Mary Musgrove.

  • Founding of Ebenezer

    The Salzburgers were the group the founded Ebenezer. They moved from there original location because they had bad land, they was trying to get better land, so they moved near the savannah river.

  • Founding Of Darien

    Darien was founded by a group Scottish Highlanders. This group was recruited to Georgia by General james oglerthorpe to protect the colony.

  • Battle Of Bloody Marsh

    General James Oglethorpe lead the Georgia colonist in this battle. The colony fought the Spanish in this battle. The English won this battle. The Highland Scots helped Geogia to this victory.The Battle Of The Bloody Marsh was important because it said that Georgia was safe from the Spanish.

  • Georgia becomes a Royal Colony

    The Malcontents was the group that always complained about the trustees. The complaints against the trustees was that they bained slavery, alcahol, and women cannot own land. John Reynolds was in charge of Georgia when it became an Royal Colony. John Reynold was the 1st Geogia Governor. Henry Ellis was the 2nd Georgia Governor. James Wright was the 3rd Georgia Governor.

    The French and Indian war was fough between the american colonists v.s The French & Indian. The American colonists won the war. The American colonist won almost all of France land in America. The war put Britain in to dept so they had to raise taxes on the 13 colonies only so that was one of thereason of the American Revolution.
