    In September 1993, Daft Punk attended a rave at EuroDisney, where they met Stuart Macmillan of Slam, co-founder of the label Soma Quality Recordings. The demo tape given to Macmillan at the rave formed the basis for Daft Punk's debut single, "The New Wave", a limited release in 1994. The single also contained the final mix of "The New Wave" called "Alive", which was to be featured on Daft Punk's first album.

    In 2001 Daft Punk released "Discovery". it was a synthetic pop album. The album was also acompanied by a japonese produced anime movie called "interstella 5555" that in later years would be shown on cartoon network. The album also represented another "era" in the daft punk history. This lead them to make the Discovery helmets.

    In 2005 Daft punk released "Human After All". This album included UK hits such as Robot Rock and Technologic. This also brought up the HAA era (chrome helmets with lether jackets).

    Daft Punk toured the world with their hit show Alive. Their show's audio did so well that it was recorded and put into an album called "ALIVE 2007". Side note: Daft Punk perform in a giant LED pyramid.

    In 2008 Daft Punk released a silent film called Electroma. It showed the struggle of the robots trying to be different in a boring robot town. at the end they fail and comit suicide. Its a dark film but entertaining non the less.
  • Tron Legacy

    Tron Legacy
    Disney made a movie called Tron Legacy as a sort of sequel to 1982's original TRON. Disney desided to hire non other than Daft Punk to make the whole movie's soundtrack and they even made a small cameo in the club scene. With this movie/album came the "Tron era" (complete with completly white helmets and clothing and blue LED lights on both theit helmets and jackets).

    On May 17, 2013 Daft Punk released Random Access Memories (RAM). The album was a hit success and also gained them a nominee on the grammys. After an amazing performance and a standing ovation, Daft Punk won Album Of The Year.

They came together to discus how music producers arent just objects they are leaders of the world. They talked about how they could impact youth with their possitive message.
