    the french revolution was a period of social and political liftup that went from 1789 to 1799. the french werent happy with the monarchy because they spent all of their money which resulted in bad living conditions because they didnt have any money. then the french started a war against the monarchy for a republic society and a fair government.

    the assasination of the heir to the Austrohungarian throne Franz ferdinand was murdered on the 28th of june 1914. it was said that that was the outbrek of the first world war. he and his wife were shot to death by a Serbian nationalist assassin in Sarajevo, Bosnia.

    ANZAC day is one of Australias most important occasions. it was the first major war the australian and new zealand troops fought in. on the 25th of April 1915, Australian troops landed on Gallipoli peninsula. Their plan was to knock Turkey out of the war quickly so they could capture Constantinople (now Istanbul in Turkey). at the end of 1915 the allied forces were evacuated and over 8,000 soldiers were killed and changed Australia.
