In the 1960's, tons of money was spent on missiles and weapon systems. The Warsaw Pact also had tons more soldiers than NATO in every section. By 1981, the US had 4,000 planes for nuclear bombing; Soviets had 5,000. 367 billion spent in USA.

The Cuban Army stopped the invasion. The fighting ended two days later. This invasion did make Castro scared, though. He feared the United States coming in contact with Cuba again.

    Kent State was a college that was protesting against the Vietnam War. This was because President Nixon announced that 150,000 more soldiers were needed for the war effort.Twenty-eight guardsmen killed four people, and they injured nine.
