Paper was found around 105. It is the result of mixing the dry leaves with water. The paper we know today was first made by Ts'ai Lun, a Chinese court official in the Chinese city of Lei-Yang.

Printing Press

The printing press was invented by Johan Gutenberg in the 1450s. With the invention of the printing press, many books started to be reproduced, especially Bible, which was the first printed book. The public accessed to books more easily and started to become more concious.

Public Education

In 1600s, students started to learn in a way that they can communicate with each other. The foundations of the classroom environment had been laid. Children could learn equally by using the developed technological devices and boards together with teachers in the classroom environment.

Guglielmo Marconi known as the inventor of radio achieved communication with the help of electromagnetiv waves. Thanks to various satellites sent over the world, communication gained a different dimension.

Television

Television is still useful tool for education both visually and aurally. It was shown for the first time in 1927. In today's pandemic conditions primary school, secondary school, and even high school students can continue their education on television thanks to the EBA.

Film Strip Projector

There are pictures on the films and the teacher starts the presentation by choosing the correct strip. It is one of the important tools used in visual learning.

Digital Computer

The first invention of the computer was made by Charles Babbage. Later, in the 1945s, digital computers that we use today were invented. The name of the first digital computer is ENIAC.

1989

Internet

In 1989, it was necessary to establish a shopping network in Cern, Switzerland, that everyone can use jointly and for people on campus. It was seen that people living in different places in the world could connect to this network that was created later. In this way, the internet has now been made open to the public. So the internet was invented.

2000

E-learning

In the early 2000s, the e-learning started with some business. Technological tools are still being updated and improvedwith some changes. E-learning continues with many applications in education, as it is today. Learners are able to participate from their homes with their own Internet, computer, and phone.
