    Édouard Manet's oil painting is housed in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, France. The painting was released with much controversy at the time, obviously because of the nude women in the painting who are accompanied, strangely, by two fully clothed men.

    Possibly Monet's most famous work, Impression, Sunrise is on display in Paris, France at the Musée Marmottan Monet. This oil painting was actually Monet's hometown (Le Havre), depicting a local harbor. Many interpretations exist but it has been commonly viewed as a rebirth of France.

    Paul Cézanne's famous oil painting is housed in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, France. Cézanne was heavily influenced by Edouard Manet, who influenced many of the impressionist artists. Impressionism included a focus on dark, bold colors instead of a subject, using little to no detail in the artwork.

The painting does depict a pair of peasant's shoes, but like Collingwood analyzed, this painting brings a new perspective to the object and its purpose. The Kröller-Müller Museum has the second largest collection of Van Gogh artworks, behind the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

    Located in Paris, France, The Eiffel Tower is not only one of the most popular architectural structures in history, but it has become a key symbol. It is common to see images of the Eiffel Tower anywhere from on clothing to an included setting in film. Gustave Eiffel designed the tower, which took just over two years to complete.
