Haden Edwards declared independence from Mexico and created the republic of Fredonia near Nacagdoches. Haden tried to get help from Stephen F. Austin but Austin denied and the texas army won since Haden was intimidated.

Mier Y Teran,Manuel De was a general for the Mexican Army. He went to texas to investigate the resources of Texas and observe the indians and check the boundary of the sabine and red rivers. This event led up to the Law of April 6, 1830.

After the Mier y Teran report the mexican government came up with the solution of the Law of April 6,1830. All Immigration was prohibited without a notice. No more empresarios except mexican empresarios were getting land grants. No new slaves. Only mexican and european settlers would get land grants. A tax must be paid to trade with the US.

This was a event that the Anglo Americans set up to show Santa Anna that they were not trying to rebel and supporting him.

This was the very first battle in the Texas revolution. This happened because the Mexican army was trying to retrieve a cannon that they gave to Velasco to ward off Indians. The texans fought back by saying "Come And Take It" and shot a "cannonball." The texas won this battle.

Benjamin R. Milam inspired the attack of San Antonio. He has helped the Texan army capture the city of goliad. He did not get the chance to see the fight as he got shot by a sniper in December 7 but the texan army won.

Santa Anna came to San Antonio to retake it and captured the Alamo. This would of been avoided if William Barret Travis left early when he heard the mexican army was coming. The Mexican army won.

This was the last battle of the Texas revolution that was fought. This battle was fought in 18 minutes and the texans winning. This was planned out because there was 2 bridges where the Mexican camp was. They destroyed one of them and forced the mexicans to go to the other bridge and then the texas army was waiting there ready to fight and due to them being unready they lost quick.

These were 2 treaties that were signed in Velasco. A secret treaty and a public treaty. All prisoners will be exchanged and every controlled land that was taken from texas will be given back.
