    Sam Houston led his army and defeated Santa Anna's army in 18 minutes.

    Santa Anna waited for 2 weeks then attacked and killed most of the people in the Alamo. He killed the army led by William Travis.

    The Battle of Coleto Creek and Goliad Massacre

    They surrendered and were returned to Goliad to be held as prisoners. They were all executed which was not acceptable since they surrendered.
