The Battle of the Alamo started when the Mexican army attacked the Alamo. The texas army defended it. The seige lasted for 13 days against Santa Ana's army and then the next morning Santa Ana entered the alamo declaring hid victory.

The union sailed into Galveston and demanded the Confederates and the people of galveston to surrender. They refused and a battle started. There were six union war boats and only two confederate boats. the Confederacy protected the city of galveston and won. 400 men from the union were killed or captured and only 26 killed and 117 wounded from the Conferacy.
