A.Starting somewhere around the 15th century, and ending around the 17th century, the Age of Exploration is known as a time when Europeans Explored the world (looked for new countries). This could also be Europeans seeking for Gold, Glory, or knowledge of the world.
B.Christopher Columbus was also a part of this since he also had the privilege to Discover America. He discovered the landmass/country while looking for a trade route to Asia from the West. He instead found America in 1492.
