Immigrated to Newfoundland from Yorkshire county England, in the late 1880s-1890s. The significance of this Better way of life, more job opportunities, wealth, overall they had a chance to have a clean slate. -
Great Great Grandfathers Scooter Business
In the late 1900s, my Great Great Grandfather started a scooter business, this business supported and supplied goods and services to the people of the outports on the southern coast of Newfoundland as well as having a job that supported our family. -
Parents Get Married
My parents got married in the Antiqua when hurricane Lenny struck. This event is significant because without them getting married I wouldn't have gotten born and there lifestyle would have been very different. -
Family Members Join The Freemasons
