Cassette Tape Listening Center
A few of my teacher's had cassette tape listening centers that we got to listen to stories on during centers. -
Overhead Projector
The main technology I can remember in my teacher's classroom was an overhead projector. -
VCR
My teacher's used a lot of VHS/VCR movies growing up. -
Laser Disk
I remember when I was in 6th grade my science teacher was so excited that he got a brand new Laser Disk player and it was the newest technology at the time. -
World Wide Web
I remember my 6th grade teacher talking to us about the internet for the first time. I'm sure it had been mentioned before, but this was the first time I remember hearing about it and understanding at least a little bit of what it was about. -
Windows 98
Windows 98 was a big part of my schooling through junior high. My parents finally bought a computer for the house and I was able to start doing some of my homework at home (typing papers). -
Floppy Disk
Because we had Windows 98 at home and I was able to start doing homework at home I had to use a floppy disk to put my papers on and then bring my floppy disk to school to print it for my teacher. -
Projector
I do remember my teachers in high school having a projector to be able to project from their computer. -
Interactive White Board
One of my teachers in high school had an interactive white board and we all thought it was the coolest thing.
