Technology and Me through the ages

  • 1970’s

Television was the first technology I used since grade school up until now. Landline telephones go hand and hand with television for my “Gen X”. I got tired of watching re-runs of old shows like “Brady Bunch”, “I Love Lucy” and other old shows. I was always excited when new series and movies came out.
  • 1980's

My first PC was an Apple IIE that my father used for business and then handed down to me. I loved it! That is when I started hanging out with the “Nerds” way before the movie. I Really started gaming with Apple, so they have a special place in my heart.
  • 1990's

By 1990 I had owned several PC’s from the Apple IIc to the Commodore Amiga 2000 (which at the time had the best graphics). Later in the decade I would own my first Dell Laptop. I loved playing games at this time and the AMIGA added a new level to PC gaming, I was excited.
  • 2000's

My first internet capable cell phone was the Motorola T720 it was a flip phone with a screen on the back side you could see while the phone was closed (good for caller ID). I remember the coolest thing about it was you could change the back light colors on both screens.
  • 2010's

I stepped up my Laptop game and splurged on an HP Pavilion with a 17” screen and built in graphics card. I remember watching movies on it with my then girlfriend, which was pretty fun. But it was not much of a gaming machine but I was focused on school at the time anyway.
  • 2020's

We have arrived, Baby's! My best laptop so far; ASUS TUF gaming PC with a decent (for the day) graphics card. I have built several (5) different PC's most with gaming in mind but a couple just for school work and word processing/media. I am pretty happy with today's tech but excited to see what the future has in store for us!
