    During my elementary school years, all my papers were written with paper and pencils. Our final draft was written on a "fancy" page with lines and to the back of it we would glue a colored contrustion paper.

    In elementary school, there was no such thing as computers in the classroom. We had a designated day of the week where we would go the "Computer Lab". Where there where about 20 to 30 of the biggest and slowest computers known to man. During this time we mainly used it for typing lessons.

    When my parents bought our first computer they decided to not get the internet. Instead, the bought me 10 different CD educational games.
  • Microsoft Office

    In 6th grade, we all took a Microsoft Office & Photoshop computer class. They thought us the different uses for each MS program. Such as Word, Publisher and the all-time favorite Powerpoint. After this, all group projects were done as a powerpoint presentation
  • Laptops, Sidekicks & Blackberries

    By this time all final drafts needed to be double space, in Times New Roman, size 12. This also the time where I remember phones began to do just as much as computers.
  • Cd's > Flashdrives > Dropbox

    Cd's > Flashdrives > Dropbox
    Through my time in school, everything shifted from being saved & shared through CD'S & flash drives to being uploaded to things like Dropbox.
  • WiFi

    Up until now, I had only used dial-up, broadband and cable internet. It wasn't until this time that WIFI became incredibly fast, reliable & accessible almost everywhere.
  • Google Drive

    Aaa, the era of MS documents took a hit. My Highschool teacher made us all create a professional usable e-mail. The rest of my high school papers were due through google drive and/or e-mail. We also used google drive to create school surveys.
  • CANVAS

    It's college time! Due to working and going to school, I had no option but to take online courses. Canvas has made school much easier to navigate through.

    As a student and future teacher who wants to keep her audience engaged, Nearpod & Kahoot have been my key to succsess. They both provide me with the extra creative edge i need for presentations and lessons.
