I was born in 98 so fall under gen Z under the websites year scale which I despise as a 90's baby! I'm a millennial at heart as I had older siblings so I grew up using their hand me downs or the same technology that my parents bought for the house.
  • N64

I grew up playing the Nintendo 64 which came out in 96 but it was the first real gaming console I used and definitely the one I used the most growing up even though we had both the original and super Nintendo. I still remember reading the actual magazine for Zelda Ocarina of time as I played through the game multiple times in hopes of finally passing the water temple which is by far the worst level to any game I've played to this day!
  • Computer games

2006- the first internet supported computer game I ever played known by the name of Club Penguin was all anyone wanted to spend time playing when they got off from school or on the weekends. The amount of times it crashed are home computer and just hoping you didn't lose your progress was always the most frustrating! pure joy and nostalgia are tied to that game I think I shed a tear when they announced the servers were closing in 2020.
  • Christmas Miracle

I finally got my first iPod touch for Christmas by my aunt and uncle I'll never forget what it was like to finally be able to play games like fruit ninja and doodle jump. And then I finally got to put the talent and skills I learned and observed from my older sisters to use by downloading and using the absolute cancer of a program lime wire to download every possible song and convert it to iTunes cause who was going to pay 99 cents for a song! I still feel bad for our family computers
  • On my own again

2017- bit of a time jump but I graduated high school and enlisted in the marines and had nothing to spend money on but tobacco and energy drinks so I finally bought my first up to date brand new gaming console the PS4 call of duty WW2 game edition it was the first time I was able to play new games online with all my friends on a console I owned and not just using at a family or friends house.
  • new tv

2021- getting out of the marines and going back to BestBuy while going to school and not having to worry about constantly moving I finally bought OLED TV's which are truly life changing tv's its impossible to watch a standard led panel once you switch.
