It has connected the world via another social media app similar to Facebook which ruled the early 2000s, this led the way for Instagram to rule the 2010s. Ironically, Facebook (now Meta Platforms) bought Instagram in 2012.

    This device is known as a voice assistant, Alexa is your and every household’s personal assistant. You can connect this device to many other smart products and automate your entire home using Alexa. Commands such as “Alexa turn on/off the living room lights”, or “Alexa play (favorite song) by (favorite artist)”. This product comes from the company Amazon, whose founder executive chairman, and former president and CEO is Jeff Bezos.

    The Apple Watch is a shrunken iPhone that's wearable on your wrist. It's known as a Smartwatch. We are able to peak at our wrists when we buzz instead of always having a screen in our hand when in conversation. In some ways, it allows people who are dependent on their phones to have a little more of a social life since their notifications are readily available on their wrists instead of in their pockets. It’s a substitution for a big distraction made fairly easy to ignore.

    With the rise of Bluetooth headphones, AirPods were introduced to the public and to a certain extent very quickly became a necessity in almost everyone’s life. Its compact style is easy to carry around. The AirPods are easy to put on, connect, and use. Watching videos, listening to audio messages, and more are made easy and acceptable in public without bothering others around you and maintaining your privacy.

    Bird Global Inc. distributed electric scooters to over 400 cities around the United States. With the app on your phone, you could rent any scooter being unused on the street, ride to where you need to go then stop your rental and the scooter will lock back up for the next potential user. At first, it seemed like these scooters fell from the sky. With the mistreatment of a lot of these scooters happening, the hype around the scooters has subsided but you may find one every now and then.
