Razor Flip-Phone
My mom's pink razor flip phone that could take pictures. A very vivid memory of little me playing t-ball with my brother and coming over to my mom so I could play Tetris on her phone. Iconic piece of technology, and I kind of miss it. -
Desktop Computer
Was very big and slow compared to today's computers. I played pajama-Sam all the time-- it was an interactive storytelling game; it would play on a disk. I wasn't developed enough to use it for anything else. -
Laptop
I would play a wizard game with my brother, at the time this game felt so magical and unreal. I was able to interact with people on a server for the first time. -
iPad
Kindle/dads iPad, at the time I just wanted something to play Minecraft on, so my family got me a cheap version of the iPad, I loved it! The screen was very cheap and would scratch like plastic, it was slow and dim. It was able to connect to our Wi-Fi though. -
iPod Touch
I saved my birthday, chore, and holiday money to be able to get one. Kids at my school and my neighbor had iPhone's and iPod's, so I wanted one too. I really only played Minecraft and texted my friends through a Gmail account. -
Touchscreen Phone
My first real phone-- as I turned 14 years old, my parents thought I needed a phone to keep in touch with them just for my safety. I didn't like it because kids at my school had iPhone's and I was jealous. looking back, I am so glad my parents got me a less reliable phone.
