    Cassini discovers that Saturn's rings are split into 2 parts, and now the split is called "Cassini Division".
  • Hershel Discovery

    In England, Hershel discovered the planet Uranus.

    Asaph Hall discovered the moons of Mars, Phobos and Deimos.

    In the USA, Hubble shows that galaxies exist outside of the Milkyway Galaxy.
