    Mission San Clemente
    San Clemente was located and established in San Angelo in 1632 and was only open for about 6 months, but was re-established in 1684. The mission was abandoned because of the hostile Apache Indians.

    Mission Corpus Christi de la Ysleta
    Ysleta was founded in 1682 in El Paso. Ysleta flooded multiple times due to the fact that it was built very close to the Rio Grande River.

    Mission San Antonio de Senecu
    Senecu was founded in 1682 in El Paso. Also this mission was founded by refugees escaping the Pueblo Revolt going on in New Mexico. This mission was founded the same way that Mission Corpus Christi de la Ysleta was founded

    Mission Nuestra Señora de la Limpia Concepcion de Los Piros de Socorro del Sur
    Concepcion was established in Socorro in 1682, again by refugees fleeing the revolt in New Mexico . Concepcion is also still an active catholic church.

    Mission San Francisco de los Tejas was the very first mission in the Spanish State of Texas. It was established in 1690 in Weches and is still an active church and state park.

    Acuna was established in San Antonio in 1716. Acuna is also another mission that is still an active Catholic Church.

    Mission Nacogdoches was in 1716 and was located in Nacogdoches. It was temporarily closed in 1719 due to French Lousiana, but was reopened in 1721.

    The Alamo was established in 1718 and located in San Antonio. The Alamo is the site where the Battle of the Alamo took place, and The Alamo is also a state park.

    Mission San José y San Miguel de Aguayo
    Aguayo was established in 1720 in San Antonio. This is the largest mission in North America, known as the Queen of the Missions, and is also an active Catholic Church.
  • Mission Nuestra Senora del Refugio

    Mission Nuestra Senora del Refugio
    Refugio was established in 1762 in Refugio. Now there were many more missions between Aguayo and Refugio, but Refugio needed to be included because it was the last Spanish mission.
