Rubi served for king Calos 3rd. Was one of the bravest generals.Rubi went missing in action but was found shortly after and he retierd. -

Became an outlaw in Texas.He worked for the Spaniards during the war.He fought till his death near present Waco,Texas. -
Father Miguel Hidalgo
Led rebels to help the spaniards.He died fighting for them.His death inspiared the Spaniards to never give up which led them to win. -
Jose Gutierrez de Lara
Jose served the united states at first.In 1811 he left them to serve the spainards.In 1812 he made plans for liberation of texas and mexico. -
Augustus Magee
Magee affected the Spaniards because he was a general.He crossed the Sabina river in1812.Fought til his death in 1813. -
Battle of Medina
Was known as the bloodiest battles fought on american soil.Was one of the last battles of the mexican war for independence.Fought on August of 1813. -
Jean Lafitte
Jean helped make settelments for the spainards.Arrived at galveston in may 1817.In 1835 a hurricane merged the two islands into present day galveston. -
James Long
James Long affected the spainards by being a surgeon.In 1819 he led an expidition.He went to mexico city to help the troops but was shot and killed by a guard. -

Said a setteler could recieve 4428.4 acrea of land.A setteler could also recieve have another 177.1 acers of land. -
Constitution of 1824
Replaced the spanish constitution.Consisted of two houses. One of the houses was a supreme court. -
State Colonization of 1825
Affected the law in Austin.Said that a settelr could not have more than twenty leagues of land. Also affected the lower of south Texas. -
Constitution of Coahuila and texas
Was published in march of 1827.Says that a governor will be elected for a four year term.A vice governor will be elected for four years.
