On December 5th, 2013, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention came to the conclusion that water pollution at this military base in Jacksonville, NC was causing serious issues. In 2017, I was finishing up my freshman year at the best university in the world. The athletics, the classes, the entire environment made it the best year ever, and I was so excited to continue my education there for the rest of my college years!
