The Game Begins

The game of football began developing more modernly in England. This variation of football also included allowed punching the ball with the fist.

Football clubs

Though unofficial, there were assumed football clubs. Around this time there was an actual established club designed for soccer. This became a growing form of entertainment for many.

Attempt to create Rules

In Cambridge, there was an attempt to create actual rules for the game. After years of confusion between rugby and football, They finally decided to clarify some things.

Football Association

The first ever football association was created in England. It was decided that carrying the ball with ones hands was NOT ALLOWED

First Black Person in Football

Through years of oppression and inclusiveness, the first ever black football player Andrew Watson played in The Scottish Club.

Women in football

Women were often excluded from a lot of things, especially because of the belief that a woman cannot excel in something that "should be for a man". This was the first official woman's football game.
