Cigarette ads were almost everywhere like radio, on TV, in magazines, and on billboards. In these ads you find doctors, babies, cartoons , and movie stars. You could also buy them for about 30 cents at a drugstore, a gas station, a restyrant vending machine, or a hospital gift shop. That means you could smoke them in almost all places, there werent many restrictions. -
Doctors prove people wrong
There was proof that smoking could lead to lung cancer and heart disease. Tobacco comoanie =s found out and denied the facts that were told. The companies told people "We believe the products we make are not injourous to health". However, they then introduced the "filter-tip" cigarettes. These cigarettes wer claimed as "lighter", "milder", and "safer"
