1) The American Revolutionary War made the United States of America an independent country, free from Great Britain's rule. It allowed American to create our own government and rules instead of following the laws of Britain.

7) When the Declaration of Independence was written and signed, news was sent to the king of Great Britain, The document told the king that America would be it's own country, free from Britain. This certainly must have outraged the king, but it gave hope and pride to all of the Americans who were angry at the British laws forced upon them.
